Resolution Passed asking for Guidelines for Data Center Regulations

The Metro Council passed a resolution asking the administration to propose guidelines regarding data center regulations for Jefferson County and the The Louisville Metro Office of Planning has officially released a draft proposal. 6/9/26 initiated a 30-day public review and comment period before the proposal moves to the Planning Commission. Below is a link you can access to read the proposed language and comment on it before the Planning Commission meets. This is chance to get your voice heard!

Once the Planning Commission approves the language, the Metro Council will get an opportunity to make amendments and approve the final version.  There are several areas that address noise pollution, air pollution, energy needs and other topics. Please review this document and share your concerns.
