Above, Councilwoman Raymond spoke as left to right, Councilmember Ben Reno-Weber (8), US Representative Morgan McGarvey (3), Senator Cassie Chambers Armstrong (19) and Councilman J.P. Lyninger (6) listened.
Thanks to everyone who came out Saturday morning for the Cafe LOUIE event at Highlands-Shelby Park Library.
We saw a good turnout and attendees brought kids, neighbors, and good questions for the elected officials.
Louisvillians: Organized, United, Informed & Engaged is a partnership between the Library Foundation, the Louisville Free Public Library, the Leadership Louisville Center and the Friends of the Library designed to facilitate communication and interaction between elected officials—both state and local, and constituents through a series of informal meetings at Louisville Free Public Library locations.

Louisville Zoo tour and meeting
Councilwoman Raymond visited the Louisville Zoo, one of our great Metro Council District 10 attractions, today and met with Director Dan Maloney to take a tour.
Director Maloney and Councilwoman Raymond discussed Louisville Zoo needs and future developments.
|
At left, Councilwoman Raymond met a friend along the way, Sundara the red panda!
One of the Zoo's cutest residents, Sundara has lived here since 2023.
Native to the eastern Himalayas (Bhutan and Nepal) and southwestern China, red pandas are endangered due to habitat destruction, disturbances and territory fragmentation by increased human population.
