Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend
 Daylight Saving Time will end for the year on Sunday, November 3 at 2 a.m., so remember to "Fall back."
2024 General Election is Tuesday, November 5
 In-Person Election Day voting is November 5, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., local time.
In-person, no excuse early voting continues through tomorrow, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at various locations, including the Cyril Allgeier Community Center, 4101 Cadillac Court.
If you are not sure where to vote, the Jefferson County Clerk's Office has a quick search.
Annual Animal Pumpkin Smash
The animals at the Louisville Zoo get in on the celebration of the season with a special pumpkin enrichment - the popular Animal Pumpkin Smash Saturday, November 2.
The hundreds of pumpkins and gourds that previously decorated the grounds for Boo at the Zoo presented by Meijer will be given to the animals for Halloween enrichment. Animal enrichment is an important part of animal husbandry at the Louisville Zoo and promotes the expression of natural behavior.

- 10:30 a.m. Gorillas
- 10:45 a.m. Meerkats
- 11:15 a.m. Bears
- 12:00 p.m. Lorikeets
Other animals may be given pumpkin enrichment throughout the day as well.
The Animal Pumpkin Smash is free with Zoo admission.
