Judy Magre honored at GPNA meeting
Councilman Mulvihill joined the German-Paristown Neighborhood Association meeting Monday evening to bring special thanks to a longtime volunteer and advocate for the area: Judy Magre.
The Metro Council proclamation recognizes Judy's 35 years of service to the GPNA as president. A founding board member in 1973, the Judy S. Magre Community Room was named in her honor.
Judy's volunteer work for St. Therese and her Mayor's Good Neighbor Award from Mayor Jerry Abramson are just two of her accolades.
She and her husband, Steve Magre, were named Louisville's Next Top Neighbors in 2012 by the Center for Neighborhoods. Mayor David Armstrong declared "Steve and Judy Magre 30th Wedding Anniversary Day" on June 19, 2001.
We thank Judy for her many years of service to the German-Paristown Neighborhood Association and her community.
