+ Louisville selected to participate in a national COVID-19 survey to assess impact on immigrant communities
Louisville's international community will be heard on a national scale.
Louisville, along with Atlanta, Austin, Denver and Tulsa, was selected as a city where the New American Economy will launch a survey to understand COVID-19's impact on immigrants and communities of color.
The survey, which will be conducted in more than 12 languages, covers four key areas, including Personal and Household Well-Being, Access to Economic Relief, Cultural and Linguistic Inclusion, and Perception of COVID-19 Response and Sense of Belonging.
"I am pleased that Louisville’s minority populations will be included in the New American Economy & Walmart Foundation’s COVID-19 Community Impact Survey," said Mayor Greg Fischer. "We know that our Black and brown and immigrant communities were among the hardest hit by COVID-19, which is why equity is at the forefront of Louisville’s plans for vaccine distribution. This survey’s results will be a great tool for city government and service providers as we navigate out of the COVID-19 pandemic."

Do you want to CREATE this vision with your art?
