Have you ever wondered why you hear the terms “Bridge” and “Olathe University” when people talk about learning and development for City employees?
Whenever an organization wants to offer online learning, there must be a platform to store and track the courses and attendance. That platform is usually referred to as a Learning Management System or LMS. There are lots of different Learning Management Systems available. The City of Olathe is currently using an LMS called Bridge. Olathe University is the name used to personalize our LMS for all City employees.
Just think of Bridge as the product and Olathe University as the brand name. It’s kind of like tissues and Kleenex.
I hope you will take a look at all of the available topics!
