Carmel nominated in 3 Indy Chamber Monumental Awards categories
The Carmel Redevelopment Commission (CRC) is nominated for multiple Indy Chamber Monumental People's Choice Awards for their outstanding work in developing our community. Each project submission, regardless of finalist status, has a chance to win. Voting closes on Sept. 8, the winners in each category will be awarded at the Monumental Awards on Oct. 4.

Congratulations, Councilor Joshi!
Carmel City Councilor Dr. Anita Joshi, who serves the West District of the city, was recently named the 2025 Interfaith Ambassador of the Year by the Center for Interfaith Cooperation. Dr. Joshi will receive her award at the Interfaith Banquet in early 2025.

Artomobilia on Saturday
Artomobilia will, once again, bring beautiful cars and thousands of visitors to the Carmel Arts & Design District. Please review the map below for access to and around Artomobilia. Road closures take effect this Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. for the event that takes place 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The areas on the map highlighted in yellow are Main Street (running east/west) and Range Line Road (running north/south) and indicate the footprint of the event. This area is open to pedestrian traffic only. Suggested detour routes are highlighted in green and include 1st Ave. NW and 1st Ave. NE.

Movies at Midtown
Head to Midtown Plaza on Tuesdays and Thursdays for Movies at Midtown presented all summer long by Allied Solutions, on the big screen. Showings are at noon and 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and 6 p.m. on Thursdays. This link takes you to the 2024 movie schedule.

This fall marks the 202nd anniversary of the Great Squirrel Stampede of 1822. The Carmel Clay Historical Society will host its annual fun run on Saturday, Sept. 21 with proceeds going towards the new Carmel Clay History Museum.
