What is community branding?
The City of Carmel announced the launch of its community-wide branding initiative and three-phase Research, Creativity and Action process to create Carmel’s own authentic and ownable brand identity.
After a lengthy request for proposal process and hearing pitches from a variety of agencies, North Star Place Branding + Marketing was selected for their data-driven process, the cost of services and their storytelling focus.

City reminds community about Carmel sign standards
The 2024 General Primary Elections are now upon us, and the City of Carmel would like to remind all parties and all candidates of the Unified Development Ordinance Sign Standards for Temporary Signs.
The City is asking you to assist by helping to ensure that all candidates, campaign volunteers and property owners are aware of and understand these rules. The Carmel Sign Standards do not prevent a property owner from conducting political speech on their private property, but do prohibit signs from being placed on public property including within the City’s street right-of-way.
