Invoice Form BLRS 5620 Training and Discussion Sessions

 IDOT will have 3 Informational Sessions where local agencies can ask questions regarding the changes to the BLR 05620 Form and our invoicing process. Linked is a PowerPoint presentation with a video included on electronic signatures in the second to last slide.  

IDOT Central Office will not accept paper copies of the BLR 05620 Invoice form, nor supporting documentation packages after 9/07/2021.

The trainings will be organized by district, although local agencies may attend any of the sessions.  If possible please join the session for your district.  If you cannot make that session, join one of the others.   Links to the sessions are provided below.  No pre-registration is necessary.

  • District 2,3,4 and 5 – September 15 10:00 AM

Safe Routes to School Call for Projects

Currently, IDOT is accepting applications for the SRTS Funding Cycle 2021 through Thursday, September 30, 2021.  Announcement of Selected Projects is planned for Spring of 2022.

The Illinois Safe Routes to School Program (SRTS) is a federal program administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). The SRTS supports projects and programs that enable and encourage walking and bicycling to and from school. The program applies to schools serving grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. Public grade schools, middle and junior high schools and grade centers that serve these ages are eligible. High schools and early childhood centers (that serve only pre- school children) are not eligible.
