The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has announced a series of webinars scheduled this week to provide instruction on how to use its Grants Portal. Organizations that are planning to participate in the Public Assistance Program are strongly encouraged to attend both an applicant and recipient session. On March 31, the Lake County Emergency Management Agency provided guidance by email on the Public Assistance Program application process to local governments, special districts, and private non-profits.
In an effort to provide additional guidance, organizations that are applying for the program will need to submit three additional forms to the Illinois Emergency Management Agency. Please review the letter linked below to learn more.
We will provide further updates as we receive information and direction from IEMA and FEMA.
