Vaccine Clinic
The Levy Senior Center has teamed up with Jewel Osco Pharmacy to host a vaccine clinic on Friday, September 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. You are able to choose from the Flu, Shingles, Pneumonia or Tetanus vaccines. Call the Levy front desk at 847-448-8250 to make an appointment.
Expressive Art Workshop
There is a new art workshop at the Levy Senior Center called Expressive Art Workshop. This class will cover a variety of media and materials. Focus is on the process of perception and expression. Register today as space is limited.
Women's Self Defense Class
Take advantage of this non-competitive program provided by Connelly's Academy, with a focus on self-defense in a fun environment. The class begins September 11. Register today!
Vibrant Living Wellness Group
Registration will begin soon for the Vibrant Living Wellness Group led by Certified Health Coach Jennifer Reddick. Sessions will include group discussions about specific health topics. The group begins Thurs., Sept. 7 at 1:30 p.m. Open to women 55+ years old.
Disco in the Park
Disco in the Park has been rescheduled to Fri., Sept. 8. Put on your boogie shoes and hustle on over to the Levy Senior Center on Fri., Sept. 8 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., for a night you won’t forget. Take a walk down memory lane and enjoy the best of 70’s music from our local DJ.
September Finance Series
The topic for September is "Ready or Not". All adults ages 50 and over are welcome to attend. Life is full of surprises, some better than others. And in your daily life, you probably already prepare for many potentially unpleasant, unexpected events. A job loss, extended disability or untimely loss of a family member can profoundly impact your family's financial situation. We’ll outline a proactive strategy to help protect your family's financial resources from life's unexpected turns.
This seminar is sponsored and led by Neil Gardner of Edward Jones Financial in Skokie and is offered via Zoom. To register, please call the Levy Senior Center at 847-448-8250.

Virtual Levy Lecture
The Levy Lecture Series is a free program featuring top lecturers, authors and entertainers for residents 55 and over, who are passionate about learning. Lectures are bi-monthly via Zoom on Tues., Sept. 19 at 1:30 p.m. Register and you will receive an email with easy-to-follow steps. Sponsored by the Levy Senior Center Foundation.
