The Big Draw Evanston Begins Saturday!

The Big Draw Evanston kicks off this Saturday! The month-long festival will feature nearly 30 free art events at locations throughout the city this October, including album and book cover art at Squeezebox Books and Music, comic book inking at Blick Art, drawing on glass at the Levy Center, and much more.

Bright Night for the Arts

Get your tickets for the 3rd annual "A Bright Night for the Arts" on Thurs., Oct. 6, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Rotary International Building! The event will include music, wine, tasty small bites, and great networking opportunities. Mayor Tisdahl will also announce this year’s winners of the Mayor’s Award for the Arts.

Fall Bulk Trash Pick-ups Begin October 7

Please note: This schedule has changed since it was originally published in spring 2016.

The City offers residents the free removal of up to six cubic yards of bulk garbage twice per year. Fall bulk trash pick-ups will take place on Fridays, October 7-28, and are scheduled according to residents’ normal refuse pick-up day.
