Mark your calendars for a 6th Ward meeting on Thursday, October 20 at 7 p.m.,Three Crowns Park, 2323 McDaniel Avenue, Multi-purpose Room. The agenda will include city staff reports, in addition to presentations by Districts 65 and 202 school board presidents.
The City of Evanston offers residents the free removal of up
to six cubic yards of bulk garbage twice per year. Fall 2016 bulk trash pick-ups
will take place on Fridays, October 7 through 28, and are scheduled according
to residents’ normal refuse pick-up day. Bulk trash
pick-up for residents whose normal refuse collection day is:
- Thursday will be
Friday, October 7
- Monday will be Friday,
October 14
- Tuesday will be Friday,
October 21
- Wednesday will be
Friday, October 28

Notifications are sent out two weeks prior to the bulk trash-pick-up day, and again two days prior to the bulk trash pick-up day.
