 This fundamental class focuses on

function in the project design. You'll learn how to choose the best
components to ensure the best
results and various beading techniques. A materials list will
be available at the first class. The cost is $60, Levy Members; $75, non-members.
This class takes place on Tuesdays, March 8 through May 3, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Register online or call 847-448-8250 (Class #514175-A6).
Swing your partner and do-si-do! Square dancing is a great
way to exercise, have fun, and stimulate your brain. We'll

mainstream calls. This is not a beginning class; some square
dance experience is required. This class takes place on Thursdays, March 17 through May 26, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. The cost is $80, Levy members; $95, non-members. Register online or call 847-448-8250 (Class #514102-A6).
A common worry among the elderly is the fear of falling, but
falls are not part of the normal aging process. Many seniors
are injured, hospitalized, and even die due to falls. Injuries
often occur in the home, but almost all falls are preventable
if the necessary safety measures are in place. Join us at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 17 for
this program, presented by Dr. Ola Bamgbose, MD/MPH
Clinical Assistant Professor, UIC School of Public Health. The
presentation will include a 15-minute video clip and 35-minute
lecture. A Q&A session follows. This is a free program, but
pre-registration is requested. Please call 847-448-8250. "Preventing Falls" is sponsored by
Sunshine Homecare Agency.

 In this new comedy adventure,
celebrated travel writer Bill Bryson challenges himself to hike the
Appalachian Trail—2,200 miles
of America’s most unspoiled,
spectacular and rugged countryside from Georgia to Maine.
The peace and tranquility he hopes to find, though, is
anything but, once he agrees to being accompanied by the
only person he can find willing to join him on the trek—his long
lost friend, Katz, a down-on-his-luck serial philanderer who
sees the trip as a way to sneak out of paying some debts and
sneak into one last adventure before it’s too late. The trouble
is, the two have completely different definitions of the word,
“adventure.” Now they’re about to find out that when you push
yourself to the edge, the real fun begins. The movie begins at 1p.m. on Friday, March 25. The cost is $1, Levy members; $5 non-members. Register at the Levy Center or call 847-448-8250 (Class #554104-B6).
