 On Thursday, February 11 at 1 p.m., Karen Sullivan, OTR/L,
CHT, will talk about the different types of arthritis, stages, and
prevention. We'll also discuss the many different exercises
and activities to keep your body moving and having fun. There
will be time for questions after the presentation. This free

 Evanston Symphony Orchestra’s (ESO) Musical Insights offers a prelude to
each concert. Hosted by The Merion
of Evanston, Musical Insights is a free, hour-long lecture
and recital that occurs at 1:30 p.m. on the Friday before each concert. The event lends insights into
the upcoming concert, but is also a musical event of its own
where Maestro Lawrence Eckerling and soloists perform. ESO’s General
Manager offers commentary and musical video and CD
excerpts. Refreshments are served.
On Friday, February 12, the Levy bus will depart for The Merion at
1:10 p.m. and return at 2:50 p.m. If you'd like a ride, please
register at the front desk.
The ESO’s Sunday, February 14 concert, Harmonica Meets
American Classics, will be held at Pick-Staiger Concert Hall
at 2:30 p.m. Evanston’s Howard Levy is the supreme virtuoso
of the harmonica, and he makes his ESO debut playing his
own Concerto for Diatonic Harmonica and Orchestra, as well
as improvising special interludes within Gershwin’s classic
Porgy and Bess orchestral suite.

 Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a special film at the Levy Center on Sunday, February 14, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.! The Age of Love follows the humorous and poignant
adventures of 30 seniors in Rochester, NY who sign up
for a first-of-its-kind speed dating event exclusively for
70- to 90-year-olds. From anxious anticipation through the
dates that follow, it’s an unexpected tale of intrepid seniors
who lay their hearts on the line, and discover how dreams and
desires change—or don’t change—from first love to the far
