The next Evanston Edge Startup Showcase will be scheduled
the second week of March 2016. Entrepreneurs interested in pitching
their business may apply online by clicking here. EvanstonEdge Startup Showcases bring together entrepreneurs, students, funders,
developers, and designers in support of Evanston's most innovative startups.
Five selected entrepreneurs will each have five minutes to present their
business and make their “ask” – a need for technical help, intellectual
capital, funding, etc.
More details regarding the date and location of the event will be provided int he coming weeks.
First Slice is a not-for-profit pie cafe & coffee shop
with three locations on Chicago's North side, and we will soon be opening a new
location inside the Gibbs Morrison Cultural Center in Evanston. All of our
cafes serve delicious pies, pastries, soups, salads, sandwiches, organic
coffees & teas, and more. Cafe sales fund our Outreach Program which
provides over 600 meals weekly through organizations including StreetWise, The
