Keep your best friends and others safe with a leash
In an effort to promote safety and accessibility in our community, the Town periodically provides information about code enforcement topics.
This month, the Town would like to remind residents of Sec. 7-2-40 of Superior's Municipal Code which requires dog owners to keep dogs on leashes when outside the owner's premises or not on private property with the permission of the property owner.
Keeping dogs close to you when walking outdoors or enjoying one of our many parks is the best way to keep your dog and other people in the area safe.
If you have questions regarding Town code enforcement, please contact the Town's Code Enforcement Officer Jammi Hedquist by phone at 720-498-3053 or by email.

Ensure concrete health through expansion joint repair
As we enter the winter season Town Staff would like to remind residents about some good housekeeping practices as it relates to concrete maintenance.
Often private concrete driveways and sidewalks are installed with expansion joints. Expansion joints are generally installed along driveways near the public sidewalk and the garage. These joints deteriorate over time and will need to be repaired to prevent water from entering this area, affecting the life of the surrounding concrete.
These joints and voids can be filled with backer rods and caulk as needed to help prevent moisture from entering the area and extend the life of the surrounding concrete.
