The DVOMB is excited to announce the three CORE training required for Associate Candidate Providers are now available in the Provider Hub! DV100, DV102 and DV103 are available to watch on demand. Providers will need to complete the post-test and score at least 80% in order to receive certificates, and will be required to attend a minimum of 4 Technical Assistance hours after watching DV102 and DV103.

This condensed training is designed to equip participants with the requisite knowledge and requirements of the DVOMB Standards for conducting domestic violence offender evaluations. We will cover the offender evaluation and the development of a comprehensive treatment plan, participants will acquire the necessary required guidance from the Standards to develop an offender evaluation from inception to completion. Participants are required to successfully complete the post-test to receive their certificate. Participants must also complete a minimum of four hours of Technical Assistance following DV102 and DV103 before they are eligible to submit their Associate Application. The objective of this requirement is to address any questions Providers may have after the training, to develop relationships with other DVOMB Approved Providers, and to ask any Standards related questions.
This condensed training will furnish an in-depth review of domestic violence offender treatment, concentrating on the requirements of the Standards, as well as best practice modalities and concepts. This session will encompass offender treatment within the context of primary and adjunct interventions, offender contracts, the level of offender treatment, core competencies, and methods to assess offender progress and discharge criteria. Furthermore, this training will incorporate critical clinical issues for consideration and the significance of the Treatment Victim Advocate throughout the therapeutic process. Participants are required to successfully complete the post-test to receive their certificate. Participants must also complete a minimum of four hours of Technical Assistance following DV102 and DV103 before becoming eligible to submit their Associate Application. The objective of this requirement is to address any questions Providers may have after the training, to develop relationships with other DVOMB Approved Providers, and to ask any Standards related questions.
The CASCADE training officially replaces the DVRNA training. New Associate Level Candidates will receive official communications from DVOMB Staff by email. These emails contain critical registration details and schedules for required training.
All CASCADE sessions scheduled through August 2027 will be delivered as a two-day, in-person training. Completing the CASCADE training is mandatory for all new Associate Level Candidates before submitting the Associate Level Application.
