Mobility and Access Coalition and the Peak to Peak Housing and Human Services Alliance, working together to achieve common goals regarding transportation services to people with mobility challenges, including households with low incomes, older adults, people with disabilities, and youth in the mountain region. Jenn, a volunteer ambassador with Mobility for All and a local advocate for people with disabilities was just awarded Ms. Wheelchair America. Jenn is a community leader in Boulder and advocate for affordable housing and greater accessibility around Boulder. DRCOG TIP Grant Public Comment Period: Last month, DRCOG accepted applications for Transportation Improvement Project (TIP) Grant Proposals. Of all the applications, Boulder County submitted 10 different applications for future projects. We request your input on those projects through the public comment period lasting from February 6 to 22. While all the projects are great, we want to advance the projects centered around mobility and transit equity. To read more about the projects and provide input, please visit this website. Thanks!

DRMAC Local Coordinating Council Lunch n Learn: All community members and Mobility and Access Coalition members are invited to attend and participate in a discussion involving the mobilization of each county around transportation coordination on February 15. Come collaborate with DRMAC and help strengthen our community!  

Northwest Rail Peak Service Study: RTD wants to hear from you!  Following two in-person public meetings, that discussed future opportunities to work with our communities to bring forth rail and expanded transit solutions. Mircotransit vs. Micromobility Series Webinar will be conducted on February 22, 2023 by the Shared Use Mobility Center (SUMC), which will present a framework for what a true Microtransit service and network should look like in a community.

Complete Streets are Safer Streets In 2021, Congress directed FHWA to lay the groundwork for the adoption of a Complete Streets design model. Complete Streets is a transformative strategy in which the transportation network is planned, designed, built, operated, and maintained to enable safe mobility and access for all road users.

National Shared Used Mobility Summit first in-person event since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic taking place in Chicago, IL. Conversations will focus on opportunities to replace car-centric transportation with people-focused shared mobility that fights climate change, promotes equity, and strengthens community.

NACTO's 11th Designing Cities Conference Mark your calendars for May 15th-18th! Denver will host 1,000 officials, planners, and practitioners to advance the state of transportation in cities. General registration for non-member cities will open on February 15th. Registration will close on April 28th.
