 Fremont’s New Homelessness Response Plan
The City has started developing a new Homelessness Response Plan to engage the community and help guide our comprehensive response to homelessness in Fremont. The plan will include long-term best practices to reduce homelessness; a framework to address the impacts of homelessness on the community; and a roadmap to help remove barriers to assistance, expand housing opportunities, and improve the quality of life for the entire community. Visit MyFremont to learn more about the plan and start providing feedback.
Mowry Avenue (at Fremont Boulevard) and Paseo Padre Parkway (south of Decoto) will have intermittent lane closures for pavement work through next Friday, September 8 (no work during the Labor Day holiday weekend). Please expect delays and avoid these streets between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm, if possible. The City appreciates your patience as we work to improve our roadways.
