This past week, more than 400 community members, elected officials, Glendora and San Dimas city staff members and the media joined the Foothill Gold Line to dedicate the Glendora and San Dimas Stations. Thank you to everyone who came out to the dedications to celebrate the newly-completed Metro A Line stations, and to thank the cities for their support over the last five years of construction. Below are video and photo recaps of both historic days.

The two final station dedications in Pomona and La Verne take place next week (see below for details).

NOTE: These station dedications are not station openings or the beginning of passenger service. Metro will announce the opening date soon.

PROJECT  FUNDING:

Project funding for the Glendora to Pomona project segment is mostly from Measure M; with additional funding from Measure R and the State of California Transit and Intercity Rail Capital Program (including funds from SB1).

The majority of funding to complete the Los Angeles County portion of the final project segment from Pomona to Montclair is coming from a state grant funded by SB125. San Bernardino County is responsible for funding the portion of the project in their county and has funding set aside from local and state sources.
