The County of El Dorado Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the Building C Hearing Room, 2850 Fairlane Court, Placerville, CA 95667 on March 27, 2025, at 8:30 a.m., to consider the following: General Plan Amendment, Rezone, Planned Development Permit Revision, Conditional Use Permit, And Administrative Permit GPA24-0003/Z23-0001/PD-R23-0001/CUP23-0002/ADM25-0017/The Crossings submitted by El Dorado RV Resort and Campground, LLC c/o LEONARD GRADO to modify Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the approved The Crossings project.

The El Dorado County Community Action Council is seeking to fill two member vacancies with individuals who can represent the interests and concerns of people and families with low incomes living in El Dorado County, with a special focus on housing, nutrition, and low-income program needs. The deadline to submit a member application is April 22.

TWO (2) VACANCIES EXIST ON THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION – ONLY RESIDENTS OF SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICTS 4 AND 5 WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR APPOINTMENT.
Description: The Parks and Recreation Commission oversees development and maintenance of recreational opportunities within its borders. The Commission works closely with those jurisdictions endeavoring always to retain as much local control and citizen involvement as possible.
Term for this Vacancy: Fulfilling the unexpired terms of previous appointees, terms are in concurrence with the term of office of the appointing Supervisor.

(1) ONE VACANCY EXISTS ON THE COMMISSION ON AGING FOR A MEMER-AT-LARGE, preferably someone from the north or south county.
Description: The Commission on Aging is advisory to the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors. The Commission works with the Director of the Area Agency on Aging on community interests and issues or challenges facing the senior population of El Dorado County. This includes, but is not limited to, developing community centers in strategic areas of the county to make services accessible to all seniors, promoting services that enable seniors to remain in their homes and preventing elder abuse.
Term for this Vacancy: Two-year term.
