Updated October 23, 2020
Maricopa County Public Health has an updated data dashboard to better display trends and demographic information related to the spread of COVID-19. We are seeing some encouraging signs in the daily case count, but it's too early to tell if the curve is flattening.
Remember: "total number of cases" refers to all confirmed COVID-19 cases in Maricopa County since January, not to the current number of people who have the disease.

Maricopa County is putting federal CARES Act funds to good use by offering a number of assistance programs to help residents with their physical and financial health. These programs remove the financial barriers to getting a COVID-19 test or flu vaccination, provide financial assistance to people struggling to pay their rent or utility costs, and support businesses and nonprofits with grants to cover financial losses incurred during the pandemic.
Visit Maricopa.gov/TakeCare to learn more.

Public Health keeps a rolling seven-day average of COVID-19 cases reported each day. This number has been rising for about a month. As of October 16, our average daily case count was 464. On September 16, the average was 345. This is much lower than we saw in late June and early July, but it’s a reminder of why protective measures are still needed.
You can help!
- Stay home when you’re sick
- Keep 6 feet of distance between yourself and others
- Wear a mask in public
- Avoid large groups
- Get a flu shot
