The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for lane restrictions and then the full closure of the westbound Interstate 10 on-ramp to southbound State Route 85.
Lane restrictions on Friday, March 10, from 7 a.m to 5 p.m.
- The westbound Interstate 10 on-ramp to southbound State Route 85 will have a 14-foot vehicle width restriction, as crews prep and clean the bridge deck.
- The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph.
Overnight closure:
The 13-hour closure is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 11, and ends at 8 a.m. Sunday, March 12.
Detour:
- Motorists traveling westbound on I-10 must exit the freeway at Palo Verde Road (Exit 109) and return eastbound on I-10 to gain access to southbound SR 85.
Drivers should plan for heavy traffic, reduced speed limits and delays.
