Supplemental Energy Relief Payment - reminder
The one-time FY 2022 Alaska Energy Relief Payment is treated as a non-recurring lump-sum payment (see page 33 of the NSLP Eligibility Manual) and should not be counted as income for determining eligibility in the NSLP, SBP, and CACFP.
This non-recurring energy relief payment is distinct from the annual permanent fund dividend that is counted as income for determining eligibility for these Programs. Program administrators will need to differentiate between the two payments and exclude the one-time payment when determining income eligibility for the NSLP, SBP and CACFP.
