Tire Collection Event
We’re collecting waste tires for free at a two-day collection event! This event is for households only; Kitsap households are welcome to bring up to 15 tires.
When: Monday, June 15, 2026 and Tuesday, June 16, 2026, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. both days.
Where: Kitsap County Fairgrounds, Thunderbird Arena, 1275 NW Fairgrounds Rd., Bremerton, WA
There will be signs and staff directing traffic, starting near the entrance from Fairgrounds Rd. NW into the lot behind the Thunderbird Arena.
Make sure to bring helpers to unload items from your vehicle. Visitors must unload their own items onto the ground without staff assistance.
 Accepted items
- Tires from passenger vehicles, light trucks, bikes, motorcycles, lawn mowers, and wheelbarrows
- Tires with or without rims
Please do not cut and embed tires into one another. If you bring embedded tires, you will need to separate them at the event site.
Not accepted items
- No commercial or tractor tires. These will be turned away.
- No tires from businesses or organizations.
You can take commercial tires up to 22" rims to Olympic View Transfer Station for disposal. Fees apply at the transfer station. You can also hire a licensed tire carrier to manage commercial, tractor, and business tires.
Learn more about the collection event and how to secure your tires to your vehicle for transportation in our Tire Collection Event announcement newsletter.
