Matilde statue temporarily mooved to greener pastures
Library staff have herd from residents who were udderly surprised at what was happening outside their building this morning. With the library renovation project hopefully beginning soon, Matilde had to be remooved to make room for the expanded building.
The high-steaks maneuver was performed by a crew from Hays Crane & Rigging, with guidance from the artist, Nano Lopez. Matilde hoofed it to Nano's statue garden, where she'll be put out to pasture until the renovation is complete. Then she'll return to a more visi-bull location outside the library.
