See you in a couple of weeks

Our District 10 enews is moving to a biweekly, every two weeks, fortnightly distribution! This will help us keep the enews fresh as we offer more community outreach events. We'll still send a District 10 quick note if we need to alert you to a time-sensitive situation, but also...

Follow Josie on Facebook and Instagram!

For the latest on what's happening around District 10, follow Councilwoman Raymond on Facebook and Instagram.

Note from Josie

This week I got to be at Louisville Metro EMS headquarters right here in District 10's Watterson Park as the Mayor announced something I found really incredible: on April 12, it will become the first EMS service in Kentucky to provide "pre-hospital blood."

Less than one percent of EMS services across the country offer this. By partnering with the Red Cross, local ambulances will be equipped with blood and EMTs will be able to give blood to trauma victims and dramatically increase their chances of survival.

Of course, Louisville Metro EMS needs some blood! EMS is holding a blood donation drive next Tuesday, March 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Teamsters Local 783 at 7711 Beulah Church Road. I'll be there with my sleeve rolled up, around 1 p.m., and would love it if you'd join me.

Trivia night, walk-in at Newcomer Academy, visit to See Forward Ministries

Over the weekend, Josie participated with some of her colleagues in government trivia to support the KY YMCA Youth Association. They should have listened to her when she told them that it's the Bureau of Engraving and Printing that prints the money, not the Treasury!
