We reported this graffiti in Klondike and they had it covered the next day! Thank you, Public Works.

Note from Josie

Hey neighbors,

Newsflash: it's supposed to be 75 DEGREES on Tuesday! As we march, haltingly, toward spring, let my office know how we can help you prepare.

This week I heard from a constituent about dead trees in the city-owned median on her street and was able to go meet her, take photos, and ask Metro Government's Urban Forestry team to give it some attention. Someone else asked about the possibility of a painted crosswalk in front of their school, and I was able to pull together folks from Metro transportation planning and JCPS Police to discuss how to proceed.

You are our eyes and ears in the community, so please let us know how we can try to help. We can't fix everything immediately, but we can get the ball rolling. Your voices do matter—just look at this headline: Louisville Snow Plow Routes Under Review After Complaints. 🙂

Weekend things to do:

fish fry image

Enjoy fried fish and more at Friday fish frys across District 10 and nearby: Our Mother of Sorrows, St. Stephen Martyr, St. Agnes, Holy Family, and St. John Paul II will be serving.

Louisville Public Media has an interactive map with delicious details of food choices for each church.

Spring Forward image

Remember that Daylight Saving Time begins Sunday, March 9, so set your clocks ahead one hour (if you're awake at 2 a.m.!) and "Spring Forward."
