The Louisville Metro Council’s Public Safety Committee will hold a special meeting TODAY, Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. at the Newburg Community Center, 4810 Exeter Avenue.
The meeting will include a brief presentation from the Mayor’s Administration and the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) on the enforcement of the mask ordinance. Afterward, community members will have the opportunity to address the committee, sharing suggestions on public safety and providing feedback on the mask ordinance.
Public Comment:
Community members are encouraged to attend the special meeting to discuss two key topics: public safety solutions and the mask ordinance.
Those wishing to speak must sign up in person at the Newburg Community Center beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30. Signups will be open for one hour and will close promptly at 5:30 p.m. Each speaker will have up to three minutes to address the committee.
