+ Applications are now open for the Louisville Welcome Academy
 Applications are now open for the Office for Globalization's premier leadership training program with a focus on the international community.
Consider joining the 2022 cohort if you are:
- looking to build or start an initiative that can benefit international communities,
- willing to become a connector between the city's communications and communities,
- looking to build leadership capacity.
The 2022 cohort will meet in-person with COVID-19 precautions to maintain the safety and health of participants and their families. Applications will be accepted until January 14, 2022.

+ KentuckianaWorks is offering FREE customer Service Training
 KentuckianaWorks is offering a FREE virtual customer service training where individuals can learn from home at their own pace.
After completing the training, trainees will receive help to get connected to job opportunities, including work from home jobs.
To receive their credentials, trainees will complete an in-person, proctored exam with a representative of the Kentucky Career Center.

 Are you a student looking for real-world work experience in education and international affairs?
The World Affairs Council of Kentucky and Southern Indiana is seeking an intern to assist with educational programming for high school and college students. Interns work 15-20 hours/week, with scheduling flexibility and options for remote work.

+ ESL classes are now available every month for individuals looking for jobs in manufacturing
 New Americans who want to learn more about working in the manufacturing industry can now do so while practicing their English language skills. Students can get connected to jobs in the industry and must be eligible to work in the United States.
The two-week courses are offered every month and will take place at the Kentucky Manufacturing Career Center, 160 Rochester Drive.

 Interfaith Paths to Peace invites you to participate in their upcoming training in the art of gathering.
The four-week course is designed to help participants re-imagine how to gather together in a post-pandemic world and will explore essential practices and tools for hosting meaningful conversations.

+ Evolve502 is now accepting Scholarship Applications
 The Evolve502 Scholarship applications are now open for the Jefferson County Public Schools Class of 2022.
The scholarships are for students who would like to attend any college in the Kentucky Community & Technical College System, including Jefferson Community & Technical College and Simmons College right here in Louisville. Scholarship recipients can pursue an associate degree, a professional certificate, or take 60 hours of credit tuition-free.
