Crime Prevention Tips
Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023 Social Hall, 1 p.m.
Join law enforcement representatives, including a detective from the Mountain View Police Department, to learn about ways to help deter crime in your neighborhoods. Property crimes, particularly burglaries, continue to be a top concern for community members, and as the winter months get underway, we want to help inform you on how to help deter criminals from finding opportune moments to break into your home or vehicle and steal your valuables.

Tuberculosis Awareness presented by Breathe California

Santa Clara County has the 4th largest rate of tuberculosis in the state. Join Breathe California to learn who is at risk and ways to prevent the spread of the disease.

Cocoa with a Cop
Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023 Lobby, 9 – 11 a.m.
Join us from 9 - 11 a.m. to drink cocoa and chat with your local police department to share questions or concerns you have about staying safe in Mountain View. They can also join you for a round of ping pong or pool!

Chanukah Celebration
Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023 Arts and Crafts, 3 – 4 p.m.
Gather together to celebrate the joyous festival of Chanukah by kindling the Menorah, enjoying fun holiday crafts, cheerful songs and delicious treats. Chabad Jewish Center of Mountain View will be leading the celebration.

Holiday Gala
Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023 Social Hall, 4 - 6 p.m.
The weather outside may be frightful, but the Holiday Gala is most delightful! Join us on Wednesday, Dec. 13, from 4 - 6 p.m. as we celebrate the season with a DJ and light refreshments.

The Senior Center will be closed to all activities and classes beginning Monday, Dec. 25 and will remain closed until we re-open on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024.
The Senior Nutrition Program modified schedule: Lunch will not be served Friday, Dec. 22 or Monday, Dec. 25. Lunch will be served on Tuesday, Dec. 26, Wednesday, Dec. 27 and Thursday, Dec. 28. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. and close at 1 p.m. Lunch will not be served on Friday, Dec. 29 or Monday, Jan. 1, 2024.

Community Services Agency's Senior Nutrition Program has a full dine in meal service in the Social Hall of the Mountain View Senior Center. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. Sign in will begin at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The Social Hall will close at 1 p.m.

Reservations are required for the Holiday lunch on Friday, Dec. 15. Reservations (in person ONLY) will be taken at 10 a.m. starting Tuesday, Dec. 5 in the Social Hall. One person is allowed to reserve TWO seats (total of two individuals). Sorry, NO phone calls or email registrations will be accepted. Please remember: Saving seats is NOT permitted. If you would like to sit together on Friday, Dec. 15th, then sign-in together. In prior years, we have reached capacity within 48 hours. |

Movies are on Tuesdays and Fridays at 1 p.m. Wednesday movies start at 5:30 p.m.
Come to one of our movie showings in Multipurpose Room B. Maximum seating for movies is 36. First come, first serve.
When available, screenings have captions for the hard-of-hearing. There is no fee to enjoy these popular movies and seating begins 30 minutes before the show.
NOTE: Please bundle up or bring a lap blanket with you to the movie. The room tends to be on the cooler side.
