Lander— The Wyoming Game and Fish Department invites interested public to ‘Coffee with a Warden’ on Saturday, May 23 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the Lander Bake Shop, 259 Main St., Lander.

This will be an opportunity to visit with Brad Hovinga, Lander’s outgoing game warden and Brady Frude, Lander’s incoming game warden. Brad and Brady will be available that morning to host the open platform. Many successful ‘Coffee with a Warden’ sessions have been held in Fremont County over that last year by multiple wardens and biologists.

Brad feels This program provides the public with a forum where there are no agendas, topics or expectations, just an opportunity to talk about anything that comes up.  It’s as much about getting to know the game warden and the game warden getting to know you, as it is dealing with wildlife management and law enforcement issues. It is also a great way for me to gain insight into public concerns about local wildlife issues.”
