New Income Requirements for Kid Care CHIP

Income requirements

Each year the federal poverty level guidelines are updated and  Kid Care CHIP income requirements change.  This year, a family of four may earn up to $50,208 and still qualify for Kid Care CHIP.  Please share this information with the families you work with, especially those who were denied coverage in the past.

New Income Requirements 

Family Size: 1 – Monthly Income: $2024
Family Size: 2 – Monthly Income: $2744
Family Size: 3 – Monthly Income: $3464
Family Size: 4 – Monthly Income: $4184
Family Size: 5 – Monthly Income: $4904
Family Size: 6 – Monthly Income: $5624
Family Size: 7 – Monthly Income: $6344
Family Size: 8 – Monthly Income: $7064
For each additional person, add $720
