PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD ENDS NOV. 29th

Notice of State Land Exchange Proposal for Parcels in Sheridan and Laramie Counties

The Office of State Lands and Investments ("OSLI"), on behalf of the State Board of Land Commissioners ("Board"), has initiated the administrative review and analysis process related to a proposed land exchange.

Specifically, the Volunteers of America has expressed interest in exchanging a deeded parcel in Sheridan, County, described as:

Township 56 North, Range 84 West, 6^th P.M., Sheridan County, Wyoming. Section 21: Holly Ponds PUD No. 9 Tract A, Holly Ponds PUD No. 9 Tract B, Containing Approximately 1.7 acres

for a State Land parcel located in Laramie, County, described as:

Township 14 North, Range 66 West, 6th P.M., Laramie County, Wyoming

Section 31: Cheyenne: Lots 1-4, Block 114

Containing Approximately .80 Acres

A Detailed Analysis of this exchange of real property has been completed.  As of October 1, 2024, this analysis is available for public review in the link, on OSLI's website, and at the OSLI office address provided below. 

This notice also initiates the required sixty (60) day public comment period.  Written public comments may be submitted by mail to the OSLI contact below or by email to SLF-PublicComments@wyo.gov.  The public comment period will end on Friday, November 29, 2024.

Public hearings will be held in Laramie and Sheridan Counties to solicit addtional public comment.  Details will be announced at a later date.

This exchange of real property is expected to be considered at the Board's regular public meeting on December 5, 2024.
