Wyoming Legislature Minerals, Business and Economic Development: Meeting Details Update

Joint Minerals, Business and Economic Development Interim Committee

 

Senator John Hines and Representative Thomas Lockhart, Co-chairmen of the Joint Minerals, Business and Economic Development Interim Committee, have announced the Committee will meet:

 

September 26 and 27, 2013

8:00 a.m.

State Capitol, Room 302

Cheyenne, Wyoming

  

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the following: abandoned and orphaned wells, reclamation and bonding; flaring; reports provided by the State Geologic Survey; information to be provided by Rocky Mountain Power; reports by the Wyoming Business Council, including several programmatic updates; Wyoming Storage Asset Optimization Plan; the School of Energy Resource; groundwater baseline monitoring; the Atomic Energy Act Agreement State Feasibility Study; regional haze, landfill remediation and closure/transfer programs; uranium mining by Ur-Energy; Moneta Divide; the Workplace Safety Contract Program; and other issues.
