New World Screwworm
Resources and Webinar for Equine Owners and Vets
Attention equine owners and veterinarians, the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) has provided New World Screwworm disease guidelines and treatment and prevention information on their website.
Additionally, US Equestrian is partnering with AAEP to bring horse owners the information they need to know about risk to horses and how you can keep your equine partners safe.
Additional Information:
- The most up to date information on New World Screwworm is available on USDA's website.
- At this time, Wyoming doesn't have additional import requirements for horses coming from Texas or New Mexico. However, animals from infested zones must follow strict rules for movement from those areas.
