Wyoming Flag to fly at Half Staff at the Capitol and in Converse and Platte Counties on January 6 for Frank Peasley
CHEYENNE, Wyo. - Governor Mark Gordon has ordered the Wyoming State Flag be flown at half staff at the Capitol in Cheyenne and in Converse and Platte Counties from sunrise to sunset on Monday, January 6 in honor and memory of Frank Peasley. Mr. Peasley represented Converse and Platte Counties in House District 3 in the Wyoming House of Representatives from 2009-2012. He passed away January 3, 2025.
In accordance with U.S. flag code, U.S. and Wyoming flags will remain at half-staff statewide until sunset on January 28 in recognition of the passing of President Jimmy Carter on December 29, 2024.
