Notice of Public Meeting, Town of Glenrock, WY, Glenrock Transmission Main Project

The Town of Glenrock, Wyoming, will conduct a public meeting at 5:30 p.m. local time on October 26, 2026, in the Town Council Chambers located at 219 South 3rd Street in Glenrock, Wyoming. The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the following project: CONSTRUCTION OF A SEVEN-MILE WATER TRANSMISSION MAIN TO MOVE MUNICIPAL WELL WATER TO THE TOWN’S STORAGE AND DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM.

At the meeting, the Town of Glenrock will present the preliminary design of the proposed project and will discuss the estimated cost of the improvements and the plan for funding the improvements. A preliminary plan of improvements, cost estimates, and the funding plan can also be reviewed at Town Hall located at 219 South 3rd Street or by contacting John Funk at 307-436-9294.

Based on current cost estimates, the Town of Glenrock plans to borrow $12,003,257.00 from the Wyoming Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. The Town of Glenrock will use the Town’s general funds or such other funds held by the Town to repay loan funds not forgiven. The Town of Glenrock plans to request a 20-year term with principal forgiveness and 0% interest on loan funds not forgiven.
