Navajo Transitional Energy Company, LLC of Gillette, Wyoming has filed a mining permit renewal application with the Land Quality Division of the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality for the mining of coal in Campbell County, Wyoming.  Cordero Rojo Mine is approximately 17 miles south of Gillette, Wyoming. The application may be viewed at the Cheyenne or Sheridan Office of the Land Quality Division.  The application will be readvertised for public comment prior to approval by the Department of Environmental Quality.
