Courtesy notice is hereby given that the Industrial Siting Division (Division) received a request for a change in the construction schedule to allow a pause in construction to obtain mine financing.
All parties to the permit were notified of the request for amendment by certified mail, returned receipt. The request to amend the permit was publicly noticed in the Casper Star Tribunal on May 14 and 28, 2026 and the Wyoming Tribune Eagle on May 13 and 27, 2026. A courtesy public notice was posted on the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality website on May 7, 2026.
A Councilmember requested that this matter be heard before the Industrial Siting Council (Council). The Industrial Siting Council authorized the requested amendment with additional requirements at its second quarterly meeting on May 29, 2026.
