Courtesy notice is hereby given that the Industrial Siting Division received a request on May 1, 2026, from Enbridge, Inc. (Permittee) to change the capacity of the battery for the Cowboy Solar I phase of the project from 136 megawatts to 200 megawatts. The permittee also requested to change the entities named on the permit.
All parties to the permit were notified of the requested amendments by certified mail, returned receipt. The request to amend the permit was publicly noticed in the Casper Star Tribunal on May 9 and 23, 2026 and in the Wyoming Tribune Eagle on May 6 and 20, 2026. A courtesy public notice was posted on the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality website on May 1, 2026.
A Councilmember requested that this matter be heard before the Industrial Siting Council (Council). The Council authorized the requested amendments during the second quarterly meeting on May 29, 2026.
