The Bridger Coal Company of Point of Rocks, Wyoming has filed a mining permit amendment application with the Land Quality Division of the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality for the mining of coal in Sweetwater County, Wyoming. The mine area is approximately 7 miles Northeast of Point of Rocks, Wyoming. This application can be viewed at the Cheyenne or Lander Office of the Land Quality Division. The application will be readvertised for public comment prior to approval by the Department of Environmental Quality.
