Notice is hereby given that the Industrial Siting Division (Division) received an amendment request from Chugwater Wind, LLC and Chugwater Energy Center, LLC (Permittees) regarding the Chugwater Energy Project (Project) in Platte County. The Permittees requested to amend the construction commencement from second quarter of 2026 to start no later than third quarter of 2027.
Pursuant to Condition #11 of their permit, the Administrator is providing public notice of the requested amendment to permit DEQ/ISC 25-01. It is the Director's intention to authorize the change on or after July 6, 2026, unless the Division receives a request from parties to the permit by 5:00 pm on July 3, 2026, that the matter be heard by the Council. If the Division receives a request to be heard by the Council, this matter will be heard at the third quarterly meeting on September 2, 2026, at a time to be determined by the Council on September 1, 2026, during the permit proceedings for the Laramie Range Wind Project. Permit proceedings for the Laramie Range Wind Project and the third quarterly meeting will be held at Laramie County Community College in the ANB Bank Leadership Center, located in the Clay Pathfinder Building, 1400 E. College Drive, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82007.
