The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality, Water Quality Division (WDEQ/WQD) is initiating an outreach comment period and informational webinar related to the possible revision of Water Quality Rules Chapter 2, which will be applicable Statewide.
Written and electronic comments on the topics WDEQ/WQD is considering, as well as feedback on any other aspects of WDEQ/WQD regulations relating to Chapter 2, may be submitted beginning May 29, 2026 and ending at 5:00 p.m. (MST) on June 29, 2026. Written comments may be directed to Jason Thomas, 200 West 17th Street, Suite 200, Cheyenne, Wyoming, 82002; or faxed to 307-635-1784. Electronic comments may be submitted online at http://wq.wyomingdeq.commentinput.com/.
The WQD will host an informational webinar on June 24, 2026 from 11:00 to 12:00 local time, to provide an overview and answer questions related to updates to the possible revisions to Water Quality Rules, Chapter 2.
Individuals that are interested in attending may submit a request for the Zoom link via the June 24, 2026 Virtual Meeting Registration form.
