This courtesy notice is hereby given that the Industrial Siting Division (Division) received an amendment request from Gold King Corp (Permittee) regarding the CK Gold (Project) in Laramie County. The Permittee requested a change in the construction schedule to allow for a break in construction.
Pursuant to Condition #11 of their permit, the Administrator is providing public notice of the requested amendment to permit DEQ/ISC 22-07. It is the Director's intention to authorize the change on or after May 28, 2026, unless a party requests that the matter be heard by the Council before 5:00 pm on May 27, 2026. If the Division receives a request to be heard by the Council, this matter will be heard at the second quarterly meeting at 9:00 am, on May 29, 2026. The meeting will be held at the Department of Workforce Services Building, Gannett Peak and Grand Teton rooms, 5221 Yellowstone Road, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82009.
