This courtesy notice is hereby given that the Industrial Siting Division (Division) received an amendment request from ConnectGen Albany County LLC. (Permittee) regarding the Rail Tie Wind (Project) in Albany County. The Permittee requested to amend the construction schedule and anticipated commercial operation date from fourth quarter of 2026 for Stage 1 and third quarter of 2027 for Stage 2 to by or before the fourth quarter of 2029 for both stages.
Pursuant to Condition #11 of their permit, the Administrator is providing public notice of the requested amendment to permit DEQ/ISC 20-09. It is the Director's intention to authorize the change on or after May 28, 2026, unless a party requests that the matter be heard by the Council. If the Division receives a request to be heard by the Council, this matter will be heard at the meeting at 9:00 am, on May 29, 2026. The meeting will be held at the Department of Workforce Services Building, Gannett Peak and Grand Teton rooms, 5221 Yellowstone Road, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82009.
