Notice is hereby given that the Industrial Siting Division received an amendment request on December 20, 2024, from West Soda LLC regarding the Project West Solution Mine and Soda Ash Plant in Sweetwater County. The Permittee requested a change to the expected schedule to commence construction of the captioned project.
Pursuant to Condition #11 of their permit, the Administrator provided public notice of the requested amendment to permit DEQ/ISC 23-02. It was the Director’s intention to authorize the change on or before February 28, 2025, unless a request was made for the ISC Council to hear the matter. No requests were made; therefore, the Director approved a change to the start of construction to on or before December 2025. The public may review a copy of the amendment approval and associated materials at the office of the WDEQ Industrial Siting Division in Cheyenne, Wyoming or online at:
