Notice is hereby given that the public notice period regarding West Soda LLC’s request for a change to the start date of construction of the Project West Solution Mine and Soda Ash Project in Sweetwater County has been extended.
The Industrial Siting Division received an amendment request on December 20, 2024 from West Soda LLC regarding the Project West Solution Mine and Soda Ash Project in Sweetwater County. The public notice period for this request is extended to on or before, February 28, 2025.
It is the Director's intention to authorize the change on or before, February 28, 2025. The public may review a copy of the amendment request and associated materials at the office of the WDEQ Industrial Siting Division in Cheyenne, Wyoming or online by clicking on the following link: https://deq.wyoming.gov/industrial-siting-2/council/ . Then click on the green button that says Applications and Permits. Then select the 2023-02 Project West folder.
