The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality Air Quality Division (WDEQ-AQD) Meaningful Engagement Session for Oil and Gas Methane Rule – OOOOc
The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality/Air Quality Division (AQD) will hold a Meaningful Engagement Session for the Oil and Gas Methane Rule 40 CFR Part 60 Subpart OOOOc for existing sources throughout the State of Wyoming on October 4, 2024, at 1:00 PM, at the Laramie County Library, Cottonwood Room, 2200 Pioneer Avenue, Cheyenne, Wyoming. This meeting will include an AQD presentation covering the above topic. At the conclusion of the presentation, there will be an opportunity to engage and provide input that may help inform the Division’s State Plan development. The Division is seeking input from all interested parties, including affected facilities under the rule and the general public. The Division will provide prompts to help direct the conversation rather than limit discussions. Discussion topics can be found at https://deq.wyoming.gov/aqd/oil-and-gas-methane-rule/.
The AQD will conduct this meeting in the development process for the creation of a State Plan as required by the EPA’s March 6, 2024 Final Rule, Standards of Performance for Emissions Guidelines for Existing Sources: Oil and Natural Gas Sector.
